Ambelos Phos

Type: Dry White Wine.
Classification: Protected Geographical Indication Peloponnese.
Grape Varieties: 50% Roditis Fox – 50% Moschofilero.
Description: The harmonious union of the Moschofilero and the Roditis Fox brings out the best features in both varieties. The result is a crisp and bright wine, with a yellow-white color and a pleasant acidity. Its nose is characterized by aromas of yellow fruits as well as citrus ones.
Vineyards: From selected vineyards of Corinthia and Argolis for the Roditis Fox, and of Mantineia for the Moschofilero.
Harvest Dates: Mid September for the Roditis Fox, late September to early October for the Moschofilero.
Vinification: A classic white one, at a controlled temperature, inside stainless vinificators. The two varieties are fermented separately, and the final blend emerges during the completion of the process.
Served At: 7-9 oC.
Food pairings: Soft cheeses, pasta, white sauces, fried fish.
