Since 1997, the Zacharias family has been the sole owner of the winery. It was then that the attempt to modernize it begun; an effort that has not ceased ever since. This effort includes the purchase of modern equipment and the construction of underground wine cellars with specific insulation that keeps the temperature and humidity stable creating thus an ideal storage environment.

Nowadays, the 'Zacharias Vineyards' winery incorporates a technological infrastructure that places it among the most modern wineries in Greece. Presses, refrigerators, vinificators, a modern bottling unit, stainless refrigerated tanks, all of which serve the grape and the wine.

The winery of the company -the largest of its kind under private management in the region- is constructed 3 km outside the heart of the town of Nemea. It's situated at the heart of Nemea vineyards, opposite the hill where the acropolis of ancient Fliouda used to be.

The winery was constructed in 1973, under the strictest French regulations, thus importing the vital French expertise on this field in Nemea. In 1990 the winery merged and became member of the then newly established company known as "OINOTECHNIKI Ltd", shareholders of which -among others- were Elias and Konstantinos Zacharias.
